Job Lists are an easy way to keep track of products that you want to save for a later date, or to build up a list of products for Jobs.
Your current basket is seperate from your Job Lists. When your ready you can move products from your Job List to your current Basket and then checkout these products. Alternatively you can share your Job List or print it off. You can create multiple Job Lists to suit your needs.
Creating Job Lists
To create a new Job List you can do this via 3 areas across the website.
- Homepage
Input your new Job List name into the field on the homepage and click Create, your new list will then be created.
If you have Job Lists already, then you can click the button called "Create new list", a popup will appear where all you have to fill in is the name of your new List. Your Job List is now created.
- Product / Category page
Clicking on the Job List icon on a product will display a dropdown of existing Job Lists, and a button to create a new one. A popup will appear where all you have to fill in is the name of your new List. Your Job List is now created and the product has been added to it.
- My Account > Job Lists
When viewing your Job Lists within the My Account section, you will see an orange button called "Create new list", clicking this will open up a popup to create a new Job List.
Adding products
Products can be added from either the Product page or the Category pages.
Clicking on the Job List icon on a product will display a dropdown of existing Job Lists, and a button to create a new one. If you are on a product page this can be found be under the Qty & Add to Basket buttons on the right side of the page.
When you click on an existing Job List within this dropdown it will add the Product to that Job List, aswell as displaying a notification to let you know of the success of this action. If you are clicking the "Create new" button then it will create a new Job List and also add the product to it immediately.
Sharing a Job List via Email
To share a Job List you will need to visit your desired Job List, to do this, click "My Account" in the header, when the dropdown opens click "Job Lists". This will open up a list of Job Lists, when you are viewing a Job List, you can change the Job List you are viewing by clicking the dropdown next to "Select List" towards the top of the Job List page (opposite the Create new List orange button).
When you are on the Job List you would like to share, click the Options dropdown next to your Job List name, and then click "Email job list".
You will now be taken to a new page with two input fields, the top one is where you can enter as many email addresses as you would like to share to, seperated by commas (no spaces), eg "myexample@example.org,johnsmith@example.org,another@example.org" to send it to 3 seperate emails, "myexample@example.org" to send to just one email address.
The message field below it is optional but is handy to add notes about your Job List to the person(s) you are sharing to. When you are ready to share it, click the orange button "Email Job List".
Printing a Job List
To print one of your Job Lists, you will need to visit your desired Job List, to do this, click "My Account" in the header, when the dropdown opens click "Job Lists". This will open up a list of Job Lists, when you are viewing a Job List, you can change the Job List you are viewing by clicking the dropdown next to "Select List" towards the top of the Job List page (opposite the Create new List orange button).
When you are on the Job List you would like to print, click the Options dropdown next to your Job List name, and then click "Print job list". The print modal should now display within your browser.
Deleting a Job List
You will need to visit your My Account > Job Lists to remove a Job List. To do this, click "My Account" in the header, when the dropdown opens click "Job Lists". This will open up a list of Job Lists, when you are viewing a Job List, you can change the Job List you are viewing by clicking the dropdown next to "Select List" towards the top of the Job List page (opposite the Create new List orange button).
When you are on the Job List you would like to delete, click the Options dropdown next to your Job List name, and then click "Delete job list". You will get a confirmation popup where you can proceed with deleting or cancel.
Moving products from Job List to your Basket
To move a product from your Job List to your current Basket, you will need to visit your desired Job List, to do this, click "My Account" in the header, when the dropdown opens click "Job Lists". This will open up a list of Job Lists, when you are viewing a Job List, you can change the Job List you are viewing by clicking the dropdown next to "Select List" towards the top of the Job List page (opposite the Create new List orange button).
You will see a list of all the products within your Job List, within them there will be a green button "Add", clicking this will transfer this product from within your Job List and transfer it over to your current Basket. You will also see a success notification after this action is performed. The product will now move from your Job List and appear in your Basket.
You can also transfer all the products from your Job List over to your Basket in one go. You can do this while still on the Job List screen within My Account > Job Lists, and clicking the "Add all to Basket" button on the page. All the products will now move from your Job List and appear in your Basket.
